Toronto, Ontario – September 18, 2019– As in any industry, tow truck operators often face negative reactions for their jobs. From a distrust of the system to an accusatory approach some take towards the person who has just rescued their car on the side of the road, the people in the towing industry have not had it easy.

But companies like Eagle Towing are working to make things better.

“A lot of people have misconceptions about the towing industry because of a few bad apples messing things up for the good,” said Jack Poladian, director of operations at Eagle Towing. Collision repair. “But we hold ourselves to a higher standard from what we know.”

One aspect of towing that many choose not to see is the history of Poladian and his family in the industry. Started in 1978, Eagle Towing – a tow truck distribution company – housed only one truck and one gas station.

Now, in 2019, the company operates a 15,000 square foot facility, keeping its growing customer base of happy customers and drivers safe on the roads. It is the passion of the Poles for their work that keeps them afloat.

“It all comes down to real dedication. My family put their heart, soul and every waking minute into this business. Poladian said.

“Eagle Towing is not treated like a business, it’s treated like a lifeline and at all times Simon and Victor [co-owners] are thinking about their next move and how to support their clients.

Eagle Towing is not only changing the way people think of tow truck operators as professionals, but also as emergency services. Poladian recalled Collision repair that civilians should stop when they see a tow truck operator heading for a wreckage given the high risk of auto accident victims waiting on the side of the road for help.

“At the end of the day, everyone has a family and people risk their lives helping others in a traffic jam,” Poladian said. “There’s nowhere in the rule books that says ‘you have to drive a tow truck’ these guys choose to come and help no matter the rain, sleet, hail, snow, or cars on fire. are there and do all they can to help you. “

As for the future of Eagle Towing as a business and as a key industry asset in Ontario, Poladian says it is only growing.

“I believe the future of this company is bright. Since being on board we have increased our sales by 300%, our services have almost doubled and we continue to move forward.

Eagle Towing is not only growing independently, but the entire towing industry is growing. Many repair shops began to diversify their activities, buying trucks themselves to help their customers bring back their most demolished wrecks. Although some cities do not allow the use of repair shops to begin towing, these may have been very successful.

“Do your best to do the best quality of work you can do,” Poladian reminds new repairers entering the tow truck industry. “Be fair to everyone. It’s our job to handle incidents and help others while remaining humble.
